Vintage Betel Nut Lacquer Box

This truly unique and special piece was hand-made from bamboo in Myanmar. The hand-painted design is stunning and intricate. It is even painted on the bottom. The bamboo is covered in layers of lacquer and paint to create a box for storage. This would make a very special gift. It could be used to store jewelry or as a desk-top art piece.

This vintage item is in excellent condition.
